Back to the roots!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Back to the roots!

Post by TheMaverick »

Been a while since I posted here, thought I’d catch up and come back to the roots.
It’s been a good year so far, can never get enough fishing time in, but been capitalizing when I do get out.
The bite has been weird, some days are stellar, while others have been a struggle.
Lots of temperature fluctuations, lots of rain lately, and now heat waves make for challenging conditions.

Had the opportunity to get out with a few friends, always fun to sponge off other anglers, especially in regards to techniques and ways to approach different game plans.

Once again, and like every year, highlight has to be when the wee one tags along, there’s just no toping that one.

We also came back to BAA. Couldn’t be happier with that move, definitely a great bunch. On a competitive note, I do miss the Renegade, and who knows, maybe we’ll back next year.

Until then, lots of fishing left to do, hope you’re enjoying your season, and tight lines to all.

Sounds like you're having fun which is reason #1.
If you aren't having fun, why do it?
Hopefully in the fall we can all get together and have a Crankfest on an agreed upon Battleground for bragging rights and a nap with Frank
