Missing those week night tournaments that were held last season! They were great to meet people and a bit of a friendly competition!

That's the issue I guess, half of the guys that would show up would have about an hour to get to the ottawa and the other half have the same length of drive to get to the rideau. Almost have to set something up on a weekend

I fully intended on organizing a few this year as I've had a lot of people ask me. The truth is, I haven't had the time to even fish that much during the week. I have been out three times during the evening this year as it has been a pretty crazy summer.

What about a Saturday evening or Sunday only plan to do 2 or 3 so guys can set the schedule blast off 5pm back for 9 this way you can also move it around. Ottawa Mississippi Rideau River $20 winner take all 2nd get 20$ 5$ big fish. Could also get something over the winter and make a twilight series to see how much interest there is get teams signed up and see if it's worth the time

I appreciated the offer for help but it isn't so much me putting them together as it is me just not being able to fish.

A weekend tournament would probably work well but staying out until 9:00PM is not ideal at this time of year. from experiences last year, 8:30 was about the latest we could go in August.

Id be game for some week night shootouts providing they are close enough to home or work as I live in arnprior.

I've done these in the past, they were fun.
I've got a massive project to finish this month, I'll see if we can make something happen afterwards.

Honestly, between the $ and doing it for fun, we always get more guys out when it's for fun.
