Port hope questions? Any help appreciated.

Trying to plan a few day trip out to port hope for one of my first times catching salmon, and was wondering when the salmon run usually starts around there? I know it's very soon just wondering for best times. Thanks!

Varies depending on a bunch of factors but try to avoid right in Port Hope and venture to the streams a bit further out of town. Not as crowded and more enjoyable.
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.
