Mega Bucks Bass

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Mega Bucks Bass

Post by plowjock »

Everybody should've had a trip or two by now to the Big Rideau, prefishing for the Mega Bucks.
Let's have some fun and see who can guess what the heaviest fish will weigh this Saturday.
My guess, 4.87 lbs.
Let's see what everybody thinks.

I think there will be bigger fish than that caught. I'll go with 5.04lbs just to make it fun.

They are in there for sure.

Sure has got to be a fiver weighted in. I think there were two last year, and with how the lake has been fishing of late I'm sure they'll be more!

I'll go with 5.65.

RJ uses the "Price is Right" method -- you were OVER!
(I know this as we were 0.02lb over on the mystery weight a few years ago and missed that bonus prize! RJ that still burns!!!!!!!)

I was impressed as big BM bass still got FH won the mega bass prize. I fished the same day in Rideau river kars section but I did not get any BM bite though. Hope the warm weather will get them bite again in Rideau river.
