Does anyone know of any bodies of water, in the park , that hold some trout?

Thanks in advance.

Trout have been extirpated from Gatineau Park waters, unfortunately, due to development, overfishing and the introduction of non-native fish species. There are some excellent articles on the issue, including this one: https://ia600707.us.archive.org/10/item ... rk1975.pdf.
If anyone ever claims to have recently caught trout in the Park, ask for photographic evidence!

Meech Lake has trout.

Season is presently closed.

If you go to Kenauk Nature, you can fish for trout until the water freeze over.

Meech Lake certainly does not have trout any more. Intensive fish surveys in 2006 and 2007 confirmed this (http://www.chelsea.ca/sites/default/fil ... port_e.pdf). It's a fine bass, pike and panfish lake, though.
