2017 Ice Bungalow Rentals

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

2017 Ice Bungalow Rentals

Post by Yannick Loranger »

Hello FH,
Once again this year we will be renting ice bungalows on the Ottawa River out of Rockland. In spite of the lack of winter last year, we were able to get solid ice and kept our huts out until March 13th. Fishing for walleye and pike was steady all winter.
As always our overnight huts are all equipped with satellite TV and use of our generator at no extra charge. All bait is also included with your rental as well as tip-ups. Guests supply their food, drink, and bedding and whatever of their own fishing equipment they decide to bring. Overnight renters also have access to supplemental huts and a power auger.
Weekend cost is $160 + HST per person. Check in is Friday at noon, check-out is Sunday at noon. Friday or Saturday nights are $90 per person +HST. Sunday through Thursday nights are $50 per person per night.

8 man bungalow: 20x12, propane heat, 40" tv, 5 inside holes

6 man bungalow: 18 x 10, wood stove, 32" flat screen, 5 inside holes

4 man bungalow, 14 x 8, wood stove, 32" flat screen, 5 holes inside.

Awesome! I need to try some ice fishing this year.

50$ is a great deal for a weekday.

No, it really couldn't get much worse than winter 2016. Bookings are coming in nicely, I just need Mother Nature to co-operate just a little and it's looking like a busy 2017 season.

Are prices based on full occupancy (mid-week) or per person?
May be interest in a mid-week stay for 2 people.

Really excited to get out, even though I have my own shack, it's going to be awesome renting your larger ones to get a few more kids out!

Yup. This snow won't help but with the long range forecast the way it is, the ice should build slow and steady and be fine mid January. The big walleye get caught in the dark there. I hope you get a biggun'.
