Spinnerbaits. I can run em on the surface, mid depth, drag bottom, or jig.
Weighted hook swimbaits... For the same reasons.
And I had good luck the last few years with the WhoDat rattling spinner spoon, as a search bait when others weren't producing.
All these have caught me bass, pike, walleye and accidental musky.

Paired with a 13' 6" custom tied loomis blank, A Serial 612 "Monster Blue Islander" Fav's include: A 3" pink worm, a 1" white tube. Certainly some custom tied Butler jigs. An occasional fat dew worm sometimes a few experiments with other plastics, nymph patters, and hand tied stone flies always in the mid winter/early spring! and on the rare occasion, some fresh eggo's tied in many colors, but always tied in blue. TAKE THAT BASS ANGLERS The long timers here will get a kick out of this post.

If I could only use one bait the rest of my days it would be a Tube jig, Hair jig a close second. They catch anything and everything.

Most productive baits in my boat with clients really depends on what we are targetting but I go through more Senkos and Jackall Cross Tail Shads than anything else and they ain't cheap..

The clackin minnow does the job on the eyes and the pike for me,different sizes and color.

A tube is hard to beat around Eastern Ontario, a weighted belly hook keitech or paddle tail swim bait works everywhere, and a bait that was on sale at Sail in the bargain bin - a shad coloured Bagley B2 is a machine. They don't last long and aren't well built, but at $4 are well worth it, at $14 I stayed away. Perch husky jerk is also an all season favourite.

I caught my 2 biggest smallmouth last year on senkos, but the Daiwa jerk bait caught me my most beautiful and biggest smallmouth if there is such a classification. . Very well priced - but only had them at Le Baron so might be hard to find now.
