muskrat lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I checked it out last Friday and someone walked out at waterview rd. Same thing at the end of McFarlane rd. There was also 3
people fishing on the far side, looked to be 3 or 4 hundred yards out. I will be going by again today and will check at the boat launch
in Cobden.

I drove my car out on the ice today, the conditions were great, you could travel the whole lake if you wanted to, hardly any snow on the lake and lots of safe ice. Also seen a few full sized trucks out there cruising around. Too bad the fishing wasn't as good as the ice!

Your good to go I was there today and moved the shack out deeper. In about 25 ft. and there is 13.5 in of good ice.
Drove out with the truck. Now if only they start to bite.
