After very good luck on the ice for lakers in the past, I was itching to get out this year. Opener 2017 was a day to remember for for sure, managed to get one fish for the day and she was a TANK! Starting off the new year with a new PB couldn't have me more excited for what's to come of the 2017... Wishing everyone just as much luck for there 2017 season, enough talking here's some pics :shock: :D

We were fishing in about 80FOW and the ice was plenty thick for us to walk out (5-6inches black ice). Loved how dark this fish was, it had some really cool colours to it. Couldn't believe the chompers on this fish either!

Have I said how much I love my vex yet?? :lol:
