Fishing lodge help

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing lodge help

Post by otownyaker »

Looking to take a trip this summer and want to take a week fishing some new waters. I'm thinuking a fishing lodge is in order. So I'm asking g for help. There are tones to choose from how dose one decide. So hopefully some of you have some in site.
I'm looking for a drive in fishing lodge.
Preferably not more the 12hr drive from Ottawa.
Would love if they where on a lake that gives the chance to hook up a trophy fish. Pike walleye trout etc.

Has any ie been to an outfitters that you would recommend?

I think you need to zero in on what species you are wanting to target and do your research from there. 12 hours is a lot of driving time and the number of facilities within that range is virtually unlimited.

I posted two links in this recent thread
http://www.fish-hawk.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=50542

with Ontario and Quebec lodges in them. It's all a matter of what you are looking for.
