pike bite in Charleston lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Anyone know how the ice fishing for pike is right at the boat ramp in Charleston?

I don't know about there, but I did see a post a while back about Runnings Bay being a good area, out from the park. There's actually a pike derby out of there, I think it's past now, but not sure. This was only at most 3 weeks ago, so try a search. One of the islands there is called Pike Island, and there is a good spawning area at the end of the bay, so that's a good mix for late winter Pike.
