we are a group of 6 guys that are looking for lodges for May 24 weekend. We are looking at White Pine lodge, Montreal river and a couple of places on the west arm of lake Nipissing, would anyone have information on either area ? I have heard that there is a trailer system to go from the Montreal river up to Lady Evelyn lake but I don't know if it would be operating for opening weekend.

I lived just down the road from Mowat's Landing, which is where you off load your boat. From there you head west for a very short 2 min ride and and then head up to the Dam. At the Dam you call for a pick up. The owner comes down and trailers you and the boat up over the Dam in the Lady. It was $20 which included bring you back down at end of trip. They will be there.
