Silent Lake Provincial Park May 2017

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Silent Lake Provincial Park May 2017

Post by spyman48 »

Spent the past weekend camping with the Black flies. Wow were they out in full force. Fished Friday and Saturday, managed to get 2 nice Lake Trout, one in the slot and one over. Fishing is tough at Silent Lake, but it's one of the most beautiful lakes I've been on.

Ya, the first I'd used it was this past winter on lake Muskoka. I was getting no action trolling so tried jigging. I think I'll be trying jigging for Lakers a lot more now :D
