May 2-4 Algonquin Park

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Managed to get out to my favourite Park stream this weekend with my younger brother. Water was about a foot higher than normal, but it actually made it easier to paddle the canoe upstream. Brook trout were from 1 to 1 1/2 pounds, caught on small spinners tipped with earthworms as well as a simple hook and sinker rig baited with earthworms.
