Sharbot Lake question

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Sharbot Lake question

Post by Olivier Livernoche »

Hi fellow fishhawkers, I hope you've all enjoyed some success so far this year. It hasn't been easy the few times that ive been able to get out so far but did manage a few nice fish between thunderstorms and massive downpours last Wednesday on Poisson Blanc.

My question in regards to Sharbot is about Lakers and Walleyes this time of year. Just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to share some go to baits this time of year and maybe even some general areas to pay attention too.

Thankful for any pointers...
Tight lines!

FYI

Both fish were caught on a weightless wacky rig in under 10 feet of water. We really had to let the bait sit to get bites.

Never fished the lake but if you need a meal when there check out Maples restaurant.
Stopped there on our ATV trip.
Excellent chicken wings & the wife said her wrap special was also very good.

Nice Smallies!

I haven't fished Sharbot in years. Lakers will be running in the 50 foot down area so I'd jig em. Walleyes? Not a clue.
