Iroquois Dam open or closed?

Can anyone tell me if the dam by Iroquois is open to small boats yet?

I was out a couple of days ago and no they still have the gates closed message playing. Some folks are squeezing under the gate, I wont, the current is insane. I'll try and get out tonight to check.

If you follow the Bassmaster Elite series, they are out of Waddington from July 20-23 and have made arrangements with the lockmaster at Iroquois to have the lock available for fishing boats only from 6:30-7:30am and from 2:15-3:15pm. Commercial traffic won't be allowed to lock during those times.
Based on this, I am assuming that the the pass-thru will not be available until after the weekend.
