Hey Guys,

Going to head out for a morning fish with my father who has never caught a laker. We will most likely cruise around to find baitfish and likely looking spots then stop and jig. Any suggestions for "must have" tackle? All I have for jigging stuff right now is big tube jigs that I used on cold lake alberta for lakers through the ice. Anything will help, thanks!

I've had good success using blue and chartreuse/glow rapala jigging raps. Out of the Portland launch.
