Alexandria area fishing

Looking at maybe hitting the raisin river this weekend, near Williamstown. Anyone having luck this year on it?

Also. how is shore fishing in Alexandria mill pond?

We hit the raisin river this morning. I got about a 1 pound Pickerel, and had what looked like a Bass jump as I was reeling it in, right at the shore. My oldest did not get any this trip, but we will be back.

Is this the spot where the MNR messed up and brought down water levels so low that it killed everything in the lake?
