WOW! Beautiful pics Bunk! That is my dream to head north and fish big lakers and pike. Hopefully in my lifetime I can afford to take my dad up to Scott Lake Lodge. Look them up on facebook, it's a beautiful place! Right on the border of Saskatchewan and Northwest Territories. 8)

Certainly know of the place Shaun, haven't been there but have heard it is a top notch outfitter that keeps busy. Though big lakers and big pike can be served up in a lot of places so it does make me curious, why is this particular spot in mind for you?

That's the only place I've really researched and follow them on facebook. The fish they catch there is amazing. Seems like a top notch once in a lifetime place to go!

Awesome.
Always an enjoyable read. Feel free to share pictures of shore lunches, fish prep (if any are kept), and preferred whiskeys... Inquiring minds want to know...:-)

No fish prep! Not a lick. Was maybe going to do a couple but after Bernie BBQ'd up some extra chops, steak and a roast beef, we just used that up through the week. Big breakfasts, big suppers, didn't need a big lunch in there as well. As for whiskey, nothing exciting there either. Between eight guys there were 13 bottles of GlenLivet, one of which was mine. Some gin and wine along for the missus and I too. The days and fishing was tiring enough, sometimes I'd get back to the lodge and not feel like eating or drinking much. Gittin' old!

Thanks for reading fellas. :D
