Advice for Cardinal area of Larry

Post by Moobe »

Ok Folks - as always, I'm not looking for a 8 digit gps grid point but I know there is a lot of MAJOR experience here so I'm hopping for some advice.

I'm going to try my (our) luck launching out of the Cardinal area for walleyes. The spawn says she wants to eat something she catches (honestly this kid is addicted)...I figure a good old fashion fish fry is in order. I've zero experience with this area of the river at all - it's actually my first time there.

I'm also going to try to fish the Conestoga Wreck as I think seeing the wreck with blow her mind and only enhance the ghost stories I will no doubt spin up around the fire later. She's 6 so she won't know pirates didn't terrorize the area.

Any areas to hit up and any techniques I should try would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM if you want to as well.

As always ladies and gentlemen, THANK YOU!

Go East or West and fish the drop offs beside the deep weed beds if your trying for Walleye. Bass are on the Humps up and down the river. Lots of weeds floating so jigging is working best
