Went fishing in Cornwall at Guindon Park this past weekend. Is the water level ever low right now. I was surprised, since it is not usually that low yet. Only got a few small perch. Kids had fun, so that is the main thing.

I was thinking of moving up river towards Long Sault, Is it better up that way? We are only shore fishing, so I am limited as to where I can go.

Drove along #2 yesterday on the way home from Cornwall. Was really surprised how low the water was as well. The best spots to shore fish from would be along the parkway. Might cost you a fee to get on the parkway though.

I would also think the Parkway is a better solution may be free with the Canada 150 can't remeber if it's federal or provincial. The water may be low on that side of the locks, east of Iroquois but still higher than normal on the west side of Iroquois.

the Parkway is Provincial so no free ride and plus the water is the lowest I have ever seen it at this time of year.

Thanks for the info Barry. I was not sure if it was low at the parkway, but assumed it would be
