Gouin Reservoir - we like http://www.nemio.com/ Been there many times - we used to fly in, but now now the roads reach the lake so we go to Nemio . Early season is great in the river, as millions of fish work their way out after the spawn. Each neck down point becomes good spot. Easy drive, even though 200+ km of dirt roads. We like the river because even when big winds, you can get out and fish. Lots of eaters, we never catch anything huge, more numbers. Worse problem we had was with high water, no shore lunch spots. Normally water is down by a few feet and lots of beach spots to have a shore lunch.

Hope this helps.

Highly recommend Kipawa and Alwaki Lodge in particular. http://www.alwakilodge.com/
All paved road to the government dock and then a 14 mile boat trip. Walleye, Lake Trout, Pike, and Smallies in the northern end of the lake. One group had a thousand fish week this year (first week of August). Largest one caught that I heard of was 12lbs and 32".
It's a gorgeous lake, one of those that really grabs you and doesn't let go. Many Americans come from as far away as Texas every year to enjoy the experience that is Kipawa.

Cheers
