French River, Ontario? Anyone fished it?

Looking to plan a fishing trip on the French River spring next year......it's a long stretch of river, so was wondering what stretch is best for walleye? Which lodge would be good? Personal experiences? What technique works best?

I've fished it about 20 years ago for 5 years in a row around hwy 69 and again about 4 years ago for 2 years around nippising (dokis). we did really well about 20 years ago but not too well for those 2 years (4 years ago). I know that there were nets out at the mouth of nippising but I know they were in talks with First Nations to remove nets cause it was hurting the fish stocks in the French. Not sure where that went but if the nets are gone I would assume that the fishing would have picked up.
