Just looking for some Fall Crappie tips. My spring spots are too shallow. I don't need a lake or spots. Just what type of areas (rocks or type of weeds), what depth range to look for and what water temps.

Thanks in Advance

I think one tip I can give is you'd better to chase crappies during the night time. I caught a few in the past weeks on Rideau river but hasn't tried a lake yet.

Absolutely, right now the crappies are feeding heavily at night in the shallows. I picked up a half dozen slab crappies during my last 2 shore night walleye outings over the last week.

River Monster, your spring spots are not too shallow if you fish them at night or very early in the morning... I'm nailing crappies right now in one of my spring spots.
