Ice reports

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ice reports

Post by CCLad »

Hi all, the hard season is looking to be on nice and early this year. Help keep your fellow fisherman (and fisher woman) safe. If you are out on the ice post the thickness and area fished here for all to consult!

Cheers, good fishing - safe season!

I'm surprised there hasn't been one single person posting an ice update/report............... Ice thickness and general location............

If you have been out, share the info! Unless.... Your "That" guy lol! Don't be that guy......

Measured bang on 12 in of solid ice on Shirley’s Bay roughly 200m straight out from the launch. That was Thursday evening, no fish, lots of cold.

Drove out onto the ice at Shirley's yesterday afternoon, spoke to scarkner quickly and he informed he had 12'' of ice at his location 9" at the ramp. Couple cars and trucks on the ice. Cut some holes to check thickness guy's before venturing out.

Be safe out there
