G'day lads,
I posted on here last fall asking for advice on some North Frontenac lakes and everyone offered me great advice as how to spend some time avoiding my in-laws.
Well a year later, i have moved from southern ontario into the valley, trying to figure out what took me so long to do it. I am originally from lower Grand River on the north shore Erie (south of Hamilton). I spent my time chasing Wally's, bass and catfish, and winters perching lake simcoe
I plan on posting more in the next year as I discover more of the Ottawa river and Lanark. I got this pleasant surprise on a Lanark lake today that swam away.
Please be careful on the ice. I expected this area to have good ice and it varied from 2.5 to 7 inches within a few metres
Cheers
