Georgian bay fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Georgian bay fishing

Post by Troller »

Hi folks,
I have a family member that will be working in the Georgian Bay area this coming summer. Meaford to be exact. I will be looking at possibly heading up there to do some fishing. Does any one have any suggestions they would like to share? I know it is a very good place but it is huge. I don't think at this point I am going to take my boat. Bass, walleye, and pike would be our main target fish.
Thanks,
Dave

Lots of salmon and rainbow trout around there, lots of people just fish off the harbour walls

Brother in law used to charter out of the harbour in the summer and fall...mostly salmon some lakers. It's a nice day's fishing with someone special...especially when the sun goes down.
...anything to bend the rod
