Recommendation for cottage/cabin fishing vacation

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lakeline Lodge on Charleston lake has 8 mainland cottages right behind the marina. It's a gorgeous lake with Bass, Pike and Lake Trout. You could get lucky this early and get a booking for 16.

Hi,
I would suggest taking a look at Eastern Canadian Outfitters over in Quebec. It's only about 90 minutes from Ottawa.

Rob is the owner and a great guy. His operation sits on 27 sq km's.
I've been here several times now and the lake is gorgeous and the fishing is awesome! Great smallmouth bass fishing and great pike fishing. The lake also holds walleye and lakers and some whitefish.
The lake is also privately held, so there is next to no pressure on the fish. I don't believe in my 4 trips there we have seen another fishing boat and 3 of my trips have been in August and one in September.
Great spot!
I'll never apologize for being a hunter (or a fisherman)!
