Round Lake Ontario

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Round Lake Ontario

Post by archer2u »

Hi all, the family and I have a cottage rented on round lake next week. Got the boat shined up ready to go. Anyone have any tips on where to fish and what’s biting at the moment? And is there a bait shop in the area, we are close to bonchere provincial park. Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance, Adam

Around the islands in front of the old Provincial Park (Foy?) too.
Super clear water so make long casts if fishing for smallies.

Thanks lads, out today, no luck. Going to make a run down to the islands in the am. I’m told there’s a hump where the water goes from 80 ft to 40 ft near the islands where the Lakers hang out. Apparently they no longer stock the lake with walleyes any more and they didn’t self propagate so they are few and far between. Will post an update when we return tomorrow.
