First Salmon of 2021!!!

It’s on!!! Found some silver, the first salmon of 2021!!!!

The chinook salmon hit various Shoehorn spoons off the downrigger and Hotfish flasher/fly combos off the wire dipseys. Also picked up a laker on Spin Doctor/Spin N Glow combo. We were fishing 45 to 50 feet of water.

Great to hear the reels screaming!!!

Loved my new High speed Okuma Convector reels on the downrigger rods.

Only annoyance were the couple...... thousand midge flies.

Thanks.... ya the flies were gross. I wouldn't say "I really know" what I am doing, but I try and even if I get nothing hopefully learnt something when on the water.
