Kennebec Lake ?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Kennebec Lake ?

Heading up to Kennebec for weekend.

What fish are in there? Lakers? Splake? Walleye? Crappie?

Any info or tips would be great!!!

Used to fish this lake all of the time. It is a nice long narrow lake and used to not be too busy. However the fishing is rather slow in the lake, expect for small summertime smallies. There is walleye, pike and both bass in the lake, as well as all the panfish, although i never caught a crappie, lots of BG, perch and sunfish. there is a big 100'+ hole on the East side of the lake, and fish online used to claim trout in the lake, but i have never caught one or heard of one being cuaght. havent been there in about 4 years as i mentioned wasnt the greatest fishing lake, so we usually pick more productive lakes.

How was the fishing at Kennebec?

Headin over this summer and any tips would be much appreciated for a newbie.
