Muskie outing continued

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Knowing us, unforgettable shouldn't be a problem...successful, well, that might take some effort. :lol:

Great and an update

Post by JP »

Great to hear Big O is able to come and was nice to see u(ever so briefly) at Bass'n for Bucks.
Just and update;
I have lined up a speaker for the muskie day to talk about proper release and handling of the toothy critters. Jake, a very well known muskie fisherman and tournament angler and owner of a local tackle shop, will be talking to the group. He is a great guy, really knows his stuff and he might bring his boat so some of u non boaters are in for a treat.
Anyway, really looking forward to it.
Hey, do u guys still want a BBQ afterwards, Do u want me to Bring Burgers or pot luck it? Let me know

I was thinking after a long day on the water we'd be better to get together at a local pub like the Swan....close by....and warm... :wink: I think if we have to stand outside to eat it may have some people heading home for warmth....just a thought....

I'm thinking if you called a place and let them know you were expecting a group of 50 or so...they many give you a small discount of some kind...

I agree going to a restaurant after might be the way to go. Good chance it will be cold out there. I'm really looking forward to this. I caught my first Rideau muskie this past Sunday, during the BAOO tournament, and I'm looking for more!!!

Anybody need a partner in their boat?
