Muskie outing continued

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Steve, I'm gonna have the whole family in tow and we're planning a couple nights stay with the Livewells. Sorry bud, I could have used another 6 hour lecture on cable grids and equipment too!

I'd definitely like to get in on this outing. No boat though so if anyone has room that would be great. I do know the water well from Kars up to Kemptville and maybe a spot or two

Brad, you and Steve might want to consider traveling together. Just a thought.

Hey Baz Fish. For not having a boat, I don't plan on leaving anyone on shore, thats not the Fish-Hawk way  . As for equipment, depending on what type of presentation u want to offer(Spinner baits, Jerk baits or live bait) will determine what equipment u need. Saying that, if u have a 7ft rod and a reel with a good darg, ur set for live bait, otherwise a flipping stick makes a good rod in a pinch. U can pick up a Shakespear Muskie rod for about 40$.
Taylor park info, depending on where u are coming from, but directions are to come.

I'm in!!!! I have no boat, so looking for a ride. I have room for a couple people to crash at my place, if someone needs a place to stay.

I live in Almonte, alittle over 1/2 an hour to Taylor Park.
