Tackle organization

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Tackle organization

Post by Chasenic »

Moved into a new place and I have a nice basement for storage. Gonna keep all my gear down here. Looking for some tackle storage ideas.

Here are a few ideas. For the rods, you can mount rod holders to the ceiling (floor joists). That way they're up and out of the way and you'll have more room along the walls for shelving. I want to do something similar in my garage. Cabela's sells some (https://www.cabelas.ca/product/98904/ca ... g-rod-rack) but not too difficult to DIY.

You can build some basic storage shelves to organize the bulk of your gear.

And can add some hooks for hanging augers, nets, etc.
