Decied to head out on the Rideau between Kars and Manotick Sunday to see if I could find crappie, bullhead or suckers and couldn’t find any! All I was able to catch were out of season fish that went right back into the water. Water temps started around 47 and peaked around 50.
Be careful out there was running full speed and had to swerve to miss a log that was stuck in the muck in the middle of the channel.
