Lake St. Francis

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lake St. Francis

Post by Pegasus »

Hello,

I'm looking for some advice on fishing Lake St. Francis.

My father and I have fished along the south side of Cornwall Island a number of times, but I'm looking to move farther east into the lake.

When fishing Lake St. Francis, do you launch in Lancaster? Do you use the marina, or is there a town launch? We usually launch in Cornwall, but Lancaster looks closer to where I'd like to try fishing.

Having read the Quebec fishing regulations, I can use my Ontario fishing licence to around Bainville. There also appears to be a lot of water to fish without getting a New York licence. I'll have to get a Mohawk licence.

I appreciate being able to read the old threads and learning from you all.

Thanks,

I believe you can launch at Mac's Marine in Lancaster. Raison River Marine on North sie of #2) only allow seasonal pass launching. There is also Greys Creek on the East side of Cornwall.
