Mercury 15/20 EFI Tiller Handle

Mercury 15/20 EFI Tiller Handle

Hello, I'm planning to buy a boat & a new Mercury 20 hp next spring. The boat has a rear bench seat about 16 inches from the transom, so I was wondering if the long tiller handle on the Merc might be too long to steer easily. Can anyone tell the the exact length of the tiller, from the motor to the end of the handle please?
