Late Fall Walleye

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Late Fall Walleye

Post by JimW »

With my boat in storage thanks to a couple old and new fishing friends I got out in search of some walleye gold last weekend.... spent a few hours Friday night on St. Lawrence River and then spent Saturday morning chasing walleye on the Bay of Quinte. The fishing was a bit of a grind but landed a few walleye and a pike.... plus the weather was warm.... and I had fresh walleye for Sunday night dinner, so hard to complain.

For those that know my driving adventures of the past on the way home from Kingston I rarely missed hitting a bear that ran out in front of me and then 2 minutes later almost hit a deer that ran out just a kilometer down the road from the bear, but I made it home safe.

A big thank you to fishing friends Daniel and Jim L for the invites to fish with them, much appreciated.
