Lake Simcoe

The Fishing Map Project comes alive in Hawk Talk. This project features various bodies of water in the province of Ontario, which can be downloaded here, and used to find some potential honey holes.

I used to live near Barrie, which is located on the west end of Kempenfelt bay.

The kempenfelt bay gets down to 300 feet at some points!! The main basin of the lake is great for lake trout and whitefish also, some of the best jumbo perch fishing on the continent can be found in Simcoe also, Big Bay point is a great spot for Jumbo's.

excellent perch fishing in Area A6. Launching from Lefroy marina or Kon-Tiki Marina. Depth 5-7' using jigs.

I've created this document... it shows each species of Fish on the lake and where you can find them. Ive been on Simcoe my whole life so this is from my experiences.

Hope it works: I don't know how to make the image bigger.
