Early morning browns...

Took a quick trip to the rapids last weekend f to toss a few flies at the browns that haunt the area....water was high and cold (5 mil neoprenes)a good sinking tip and the fly du jour and we had a winning combination....man are these fish fun on a 6 weight...heres a pic of the sunrise and our trek up to the pools.....

Fly.....Grey Ghost or Magog smelt tied sparse on a number 6 Mustad
Line 6 wt fast sinking tip... 3 foot tippet...45 degree drift and swing....off bottom with a short strip...all fish released to fight another day.....
