Lower Twin update

Post by bobfly »

Not content to leave well enough alone, I tried my luck again on Monday despite the lousy weather. No hatch this time but I did manage to snag some rainbow minnows since I was casting #18 BWO's which goes to prove that the 10 to 14 inchers I caught on Friday were last years and not sub adults planted this year. One other flyfisher had caught one and had a bigger hit. There was about 5 cars parked fishing Upper Twin. No idea how they did. There were a few Hendrickson's floating around so time to change over. Tried Tooey as well but just got a few brookie minnows which goes to prove that they have stocked that lake already as well. I think browns are the only trout that can reproduce in our lakes.
