Decided to give the Mill a try yesterday evening with a friend. While I have fished the south end of Long Island frequently it was my first time to the mill. The water levels were good but I'd have to say that the wading there is quite challenging. While our intent was to target toothy critters I wound up with a half dozen slab (8") Black Crappie. We also spotted a nice muskie but it had no interest in any of the flies we stripped past it.
