The Ottawa Flyfishers Society is please to have Bill Spicer (from the New Flyfisher TV series) in town to give a talk on "Affordable Ontario Fishing Desitinations".

Date: Tuesday, Mar 9th
Time: 7pm
Cost: $10

I wish I could attend that one, Todd. Bill is a great TV host and a damned fine casting instructor.

Never know, Bob might be able to capture it on video. Or we find someone with a rocket stick so that you can participate via Skype. ;-)

Yup,

It was another good presenation that he put together. He should be back this summer to offer a casting clinic just in case people are interested. I'll be sure to post details when they are available.

How many of you attended yesterday's evening presentation at the Cheschire Cat Pub, on Atlantic Salmon fishing.

Bill Spicer's Newfoundland and Labrador adventure was my first one and I enjoyed mysel, learnt some things and met some great people.

Ditto for me - enjoyed the presentation. If I had a bucket list salmon fishing in Newfoundland & Labrador would have to be on it. Maybe I should start one.....

But there seems to have one inconvenience that both Bill and Collin reported for that area. Those "Damm Trouts".
