That's great Joco!!

I will also be tying alot of flies this year. My main species that I will be targeting is Arctic Grayling and Trout.

Seeing all your post about fly stuff is getting me pumped for the spring. We still got ice on our lakes up here. Not for long though.

How much do you figure it will cost me to get a starter kit going???

Alot of my co-workers up here hunt for Deer, Moose, Elk, Mule Deer and many species of birds.

Keep us updated on your fly tying room!

hi katmore.

for the cost.

it can cost you mabe 30$ to 2000$ some vise and toold are real expensive...but some are cheap...and will do the work.

i use to have all the stuff and tools on that bench you see.now all sold.

now going back..but will not go as expensive...will get cheap stuf..those not meen cheap=no good...its just that sometime it those not have some features off other that area more expensive.

i saw some video off pro tyer tying on a pair off plyer and did very well..but again there pro. .

i think for 40$ you can get basic stuff.

and after the materiel this can go up pretty fast.

you can get in a group and share the materiel cost mabe.

or get only what you need for the flies you want to ty.

its a nice patime in winter.something i should have taught last nov..

good luck.
