Headed back home from work and crossed the bridge around 8:00 p.m. Had just started to rain. Noticed an individual fly-fishing in the Ottawa river on the east side of the Champlain bridge on the QC side.

Any catch?
I've been out around here once a week since May and the fishing has been slow for browns. I've caught only two notable fish this year around this spot.
I'll try to be there tomorrow , Todd thanks for putting this great event together . Anyone know how water level there I'm thinking about coming from the other side of the dam.

Paya,
The outing this week is on Wednesday. The water levels are about 10" above summer level. With the exception of the spring melt, you can always cross the river above the big hole that's out in front of the dam.
