Kitty On The Fly

Hopped in the tinny after dinner tonight to chuck dead deer parts and stuff found on Xmas trees at pike. Only had a couple of follows but ended up with a PB kitty on the fly. Not much of a PB but it's about twice the size of the 2 kitties I caught on the fly last year.

Not sure if nice is the right word for it. Caught my first at Appleton on Saturday evening.

It's a channel cat. The Ottawa River is full of them and they put up a real good tussle. Caught this one on a Deceiver in about 4 ft of water just as the sun was starting to go behind the trees.
