Would you be using this with a fly-fishing rod, or an ordinary fishing rod?

You'd use the appropriate weight fly rod to chuck that particular fly. Given that it's basically bucktail and synthetics it's not particularly heavey to begin with and will not become water logged. For this particular fly your greatest impediment would be wind resistance. You could probably cast it with a 9wt but in any wind...good luck.LeGrand wrote:Noticed this nice web site.
