Tuesday @ Strathconna

Post by Todd B. »

This past Tuesday's outing to Strathconna park was a big slow but the fish that were caught were definitely quality fish. The fish pictured was a healthy 12" at least. Another 3 were landed that were 14"+. Another that was probably more than 17" broke me off almost immediately.

The majority of the fish were caught in 3' of water, upstream dead drifting a brown/UV "heavy" woolly bugger. The water temps are definitely starting to drop with the cool nights, which is definitey putting the bass into a feeding mode. :-)
