Lanark Bass

Not as big as RJ's bass over on the other board but for flyfishing from a tube, I was pretty happy with 8-10 SM and LM like this one plus numerous smaller ones. I did get one SM at about 21". This 30" pike gave me quite a run. The bigger bass are in 25 ft of water for the most part. I was using a #3 sink. Best fly was a large Mrs Simpson.

I would rather take fish like those any day on the fly vs 30lb power pro line
and dragging them into the boat.

Sounds like you had a blast. Keep the great reports coming.
