Fishing the AuSable

Just got back from our annual trip to Wilmington. Fishing was tough, got there Wednesday late afternoon and hit the river running on Thursday morning. Then it started to rain, it rained all day and all night. This morning the river was a raging torrent, if you know the view from The Hungry Trout you'll remember the big rock at the top of the pool just up river, well it was totally under water at 8am this morning,it will be a couple of days at least before the river level goes down and the clarity returns. By the way, I missed my only 2 hits all day, my buddy Rod matched me in missing hits, a great time was had anyway.
